Pregnancy and Births Update

Has your character recently mated or had children? Post below with the appropriate form so staff can add your info to the Births board. For pregnancies, staff will roll two dice to determine how your pregnancy went. If you wish to use an Extra Child Pass please keep in mind that you can only have a max of 6 children with a total of 2 passes used for each pregnancy. If you're character is infertile and using an Infertility Pass remember that if both parents are infertile, two passes must be used. However, if two complete hybrids breed together and succeed in getting a complete hybrid, those children will only live for to be 2 years old.

Pregnancy lasts 3 OOC weeks and afterward either a successful birth or a miscarriage, the character that 'mothered' the children must wait 2 OOC weeks to be able to breed again for children.

For couples without hybrid pass
The first roll is to see how successful your mating was with evens being successful and odds being unsuccessful if either parent is a rogue. If both parents are in a realm, 2,4,6,7,8,9,10 are successful.
The second roll is to see how many children you have, 1-5 being the number of children and 6 being miscarriage. However you have a choice to choose infertility instead of a miscarriage, the mother will be the only one becoming infertile due to this.  If you choose to have a miscarriage, a thread must be created sometime before the birth thread. The longer the pregnancy goes on, the more developed the babies will be, with still-borns being fully developed on the due date.

If you are not using a hybrid pass, a third roll will be used to determined the species of each child. Odd will be parent 1 and even will be parent 2.

If the parents can not realistically create a hybrid, then, a fourth roll of 1-20 will be used, for each child, to determine if it is a hybrid or not. A 20 means they are a 'complete hybrid' and a 18-19 means they are a 'partial hybrid'. Look here for more information about hybrids.

If the parents can realistically create a hybrid as stated in the Character Creations page, then, a fourth roll of 1-10 will be used, for each child, to determine if it is a hybrid or not. A 10 being a 'partial hybrid' and 8-9 being a 'real hybrid'

Children that are from homosexual couples or are the same species as the father of a same sex couple will be brought down by Alina, the Light Goddess and delivered to the Realm of the parents. If both parents are from different realms, the children will be delivered in a non-claimable land.

For couples with hybrid pass
