Alexon Skye is the runaway son of the alpha of Darkstone pack. They took their mother's last name and ran after being disgraced and nearly killed.
Their father, Landicus, ran what was basically a pack of mercenary/assassin wolves. Sort of. He would often kidnap the wolves he or his pack had been hired to kill, and use them as pets or slaves. Many, many creatures have suffered and even been tortured at the paws of the Darkstone pack. Any creature in the pack that wasn't an assassin, mercenary, hunter, or general warrior was an omega or a prisoner, essentially. They would also regularly capture wolves to use as practice, or, if it was a female, they would use her to produce more wolves. This is how Alex was born.
Alex's mother was very young. She had a litter at two years of age, and every six months after that. She had been locked in Landicus's den since she was about sis months old.
Alex never took to the lessons their father taught. They preferred to go off and play with the omegas and prisoners, and their father didn't approve. Alex was constantly kept busy with training exercises, but they hated them. They didn't want to hurt anyone, but any time they expressed this, it earned them a beating, so they learned to keep their mouth shut and just fumble about in the lessons.
Finally, fed up with Alex's behavior, their father had Melli, Alex's mother, brought out, and told Alex that it was either kill her, or be killed. Alex saw red that day, and attacked the poor wolf, who was in training at the time, that had brought out their mother, catching him off guard and, as far as Alex knows, killing him. It gave Melli a chance to run, which she did, and their father delivered the blow that caused Alex to be infertile. "If you don't want to be a Darkstone," he raged, "then you don't deserve to reproduce."
The pack descended upon Alex before they could get away, slowed down by the painful wound their father had caused. The wolf was disgraced and thrown into a small, heavily guarded cave, where they waited until their father returned. And return he did, covered in blood that Alex was told was their mother's.
Alex can not have pups, and is essentially desexed. To get the gist of Alex's family and friends from Darkstone, that's all the history you really need to know.
Father: Landicus Darkstone, male, 6-8 years of age
Extremely aggressive, treats females as property, treats everyone as beneath him, will not hesitate to harm and kill another wolf, or resort to torture

If you wanted to make escapees from Darkstone pack, they could either see Alex as a friend, an inspiration, a traitor, a disgrace, or even someone that abandoned them, depending on the wolf. It wouldn't be too far off for there to have been various hybrid omegas and prisoners.
There were no healers in Darkstone, and there were no rules against constant abuse of the omegas and prisoners. They were often killed, though the abuse generally stopped just before death. They were also used as training dummies, and the females were used as "babymakers". Free rein with injuries, but they will all be injured and scarred to some extent. Most of these wolves have been abused most of their lives. Many of the females are likely pregnant, but that's up to you
Hierarchy and Laws of the Darkstone Pack
King: Landicus Darkstone
Not to be questioned, only to be obeyed. Questioning the king will lead to demotion, torture, or death. He has no rules.
Heir
The heir can only be male, as the Darkstone belief is that only males are capable of leadership. The heir is the king's favored son, and will become king upon the King's death
Elites
The elites are warriors favored by the king. They have taken many lives and have proven themselves multiple times in battle. They are allowed to breed at will, with whomever they please, except for the queen, unless given permission by the king. They can kill any pups deemed 'weak' or 'unfit'. They hold the power to question or even kill anyone except the heir and the king.
Warriors
The warriors are all males. The Darkstone pack believes that females should be silent unless spoken to, submissive, obedient, and unwilling to fight back. Warriors are the wolves with jobs, they go out and fight and kill and take prisoners. Warriors are only to be questioned by the King or the Elite. Warriors hold the power to demote omegas to prisoners, and are free to do as they please to anyone ranking lower than them, but must have permission from the King to breed.

These are the male wolves, usually a year and younger, in training to become warriors. Each warrior in training must be approved by the king as a pup, then is trained by at least three warriors, then must be approved by the king to become a warrior. To become a warrior, they can either torture and kill one of their siblings and an omega or prisoner or kill at least two omegas and at least one prisoner. They must show no weakness, show the ability to make a clean kill, and show the ability to effectively torture a wolf. All members of the pack are required to watch the ceremony.

The queen is the King's favored mate. No one is allowed to touch her or interact with her except the king. She is only allowed to be in his den and her own, unless she receives special permission. Some kings have decided that the queen is only allowed in the king's den. She has little to no autonomy, but is protected from the rest of the pack.

Breedstock are demoted to Omega if unable to breed and to prisoner if aggressive or not obedient. Breedstock have no autonomy or choice. Unwillingness to comply leads to severe punishment.
