Satan Hazer Drazen
He Speaks. He Thinks.
It seemed he wasn't expecting the bear to rear up as he did and his attack was no where near where he had anticipated it hitting. That was a bit annoying but he still wasn't going to stop. At least not yet. He could taste the bear's blood again but at the same time he could feel his own blood dipping down his fur. It didn't help with the fact that the sun was much brighter out here then what he was used to because of his cave life. Not only that, but he was albino, so it was harsh on his skin. Thankfully the only real part that was harming him at the moment was his eyes due to the lack of pigment there as well. Keeping his eyes narrowed helped a little but he still had to blink pretty often to keep his eyes from hurting.
His hackles were still raised and his back legs lowered slightly and his back legs that were still on the ground were spread slightly to keep his balance as he attacked. His tail also flipped wildly behind him to help him keep his balance on his back legs. His upper lip lifted slightly though his jaws parted again as they seemed to almost entirely miss their target. His ears stayed pinned against his head, hiding under his large mane. His head wasn't lowered, however, as he was in the air and trying to attack a creature taller then himself.
He wasn't entirely sure what the bear was trying to do as they were almost the same weight, but Vorek seemed to be trying to pick him up and toss him away. The lion would attempt to clench his jaws around the bear's front left paw and yank in an attempt to tear flesh and at the same time he would try to use his front paws that were already off the ground to slice down the bear's stomach as he was slightly shorter than the bear. But that would still take him off balance as the bear slammed back down. He twisted his feline body so that he landed on his side instead of his back and quickly was able to turn himself around. As he stood, he felt the crunch of his already hurt shoulder landing between his body and the ground. It wasn't broken but it sure hurt a lot and he would need to rest that shoulder before he could hunt large game or attack anyone else.
For now, he would stand still and watch the bear, keeping his good shoulder towards the creature as he panted slightly from the wounds as well as the heat from the sun on his skin. Thankfully his fur kept him from being sunburned most of the time but if he had to stay out here much longer, he knew he would start to burn and that his eyes may not be able to take it.
