[OPEN] A Home Only an Owl Could Love

Zazuu loved to explore, and he rarely had to exert himself. His wings were so long and wide that the thermals helped to keep him aloft. His travels lead him to some cliffs. It was quite picturesque here but he did not see any marshy areas where he could fish.

His form while large and ungainly cut through the sky with ease. Making a sound much like a jackhammer he decides to land on the flattest part of the cliff he could find. Once perched he looked over at his surroundings.

His gaze scanned the area. At first, seeing nothing, his eyesight not too great in the dark. He was used to hunting in the day or in low light. When another bird approched he was surprised that he did not hear the flaps of the other's wings. He looked over at the bird that was half his size and tilted his head slightly.

"Hello" he began softly while he tilted his head this way and that taking in the other birds form. He had not seen an owl before so he studied the creature with interest.

"The name is Zazuu, it's nice to meet you but please come closer. My eyesight doesn't fare well in the dark " he says.

"what brings you to these, beautiful lands?" he asks curiously.

Zazuu chuckles as the passion for a place like this was clear in the owls words. "Yes i agree it is very beautiful here. It's not exactly what i would call home though. I need a land with fish that i can hunt." he says softly as he did his best to see the places that the owl had mentioned in this place.

"Have no fear, my friend. These are not my lands i have no claim to them. I am a scout or nomad, there are many names for what i do. I don't stay in one place too often. I like to explore and meet new people and creatures." he explained not wanting to give the owl the impresion that he belonged to a kingdom.

"It seems to me that this place has been calling to you, am i right Bellum?" he asks softly.

Zazuu could see the relief on the other bird. It occurred to him that the Bellum may have been worried that he had somehow trespassed onto his territory. It wasn't long till he got a reply, he was surprised it was such a long wined one though. When Bellum had finished his tirade Zazuu could not help but chuckle merrily. "I cannot say I have been to many realms. I am new to this place. I am merely exploring the realms. Is there anything I should know about the realms?" he asked curiously.
